Description
R290 gas is mainly used in commercial refrigeration, on positive temperature systems: counters and cold rooms, ice-making machinery, vending machines. It is also used in some industrial plants at negative temperatures.
It requires the use of mineral oils in the compressors of the refrigeration units, which allows us to avoid the humidity problems associated with the use of synthetic lubricants.
To connect the cylinder to the charging pipe it is necessary to use the fitting with depressor (inlet 7/16" 20 UNEF and outlet ¼" SAE right).
R290 gas is a highly flammable gas (class A3).
