R452B Kryon® 452B (Honeywell Solstice® L41y) is a zeotropic refrigerant blend designed to replace R-410A in air conditioning and heating applications, particularly in heat pump systems and compression equipment.

With a GWP of 698, it significantly reduces environmental impact while maintaining energy performance and operating capabilities very similar to R-410A. This compatibility facilitates the transition to more sustainable refrigerants without requiring significant system modifications.

The refrigerant also has a compressor discharge temperature similar to that of R-410A and lower than R-32, helping to preserve component reliability. The lower mass flow rate reduces pressure drop, improving system efficiency.

With a higher critical temperature (77.1 °C) and good performance at low evaporation temperatures, Kryon® 452B offers excellent performance even in difficult environmental conditions, making it ideal for numerous HVAC applications.
