Description
Original Inficon accessory - IR sensor for refrigerant gases R290 (C3H8 propane), R600a (IC4H10 isobutane) and R441A. Also detects CH4 Methane.

Infrared sensor for detecting HC (hydrocarbon) leaks; for use with Inficon D-TEK STRATUS and D-TEK 3 leak detectors. Sensitivity to R290: 4 g/year - Long sensor life (min 1000 hours) - Excellent for R290, R600a and R441a - Easy to install
IMPORTANT NOTE:
For D-TEK 3 model, Firmware version 2 or higher is required
For D-TEK Stratus model, Firmware version 1.4 or higher is required
A firmware update may be required to use the HC sensor with the detector (firmware update provided free of charge by Inficon Italy)
The IR sensor does not detect hydrogen (H2) or azohydro (95% nitrogen + 5% hydrogen mixture) leaks; H2 is composed of two identical molecules that cannot absorb infrared energy.
