R-417A is applied in residential and commercial air conditioning systems; It also finds application in medium temperature commercial refrigeration, including catering systems, refrigerated displays for supermarkets, and food storage and processing systems.
It was designed to replace R-22 in fixed direct expansion air conditioning systems and medium temperature commercial refrigeration systems.
R-417A is compatible with traditional and newly formulated lubricants, including mineral oil, alkylbenzene and polyol ester.
